Hello everyone!
First off thank you for being with us for so long. We have made broken promises before and we have changed up show names and styles more then once also. Which is why we are making this one last change. In the past we have done really long shows average of 3 hours which is more then the average. We also did our shows live with live call ins, played music and took requests, all of which was again, not average, we wanted to try different thing and engage with our audience. We were more than a podcast that’s for sure, but we decided we could do more shows and be more active if we took the normal podcast approach. What is that?
Well first off we need a specific and constant topic, some of you will remember we had a segment of our show called “Grooves and Foods” which was us taking about food, recipes, how to cook, what we like, what we ate and more all with some music mixed in. Instead of being a segment, this is our new show! Grooves and Foods!
Another change is it will be recorded offline w/post production. The old show had pre-production, a live show, then post production…a lot of work. This new way will allows us to polish the show more while still being less work, less work means more shows. Having a specific topic….food will make it easy for us to have content for new shows. We still want lots of listener engagement so we encourage chat about the show afterwards, suggestions on foods or recipes for upcoming shows, we will be posting the recipes on this website as well complete with pictures. However it needs to be stated that our famous “Christmas Special” will be the same as always and will be LIVE!
